What's Character Jewelry?
J.Siede creates jewelry pieces that are unique and collectible for those who want something one-of-a-kind. The design is
strictly the creator's own inspiration by a muse, a theme, an art object or the reflection of a state of mind at the time the piece is created.
"The process is very personal and intuitive. I often work with a portait or a picture of my subject, gather a description of the wearer's personalities, interests and life styles from
the commissioner. I will first start off with the gemstones selection, looking for materials that will best express that person's character and create from there.
Jewelry should bring out the wearer's best features, complexion and his/her inner soul - a jewelry piece should be complement the well-being of the whole person with the special healing
power of natural gemstones and metal.
Another characteristic of my design is that jewelry has to be fun to wear, versatile (often you get multiple pieces out of one piece from my jewelry). Some of my necklaces can be double as
waist belts. Styling options should be unlimited. I love to have fun with jewelry. Make a statement on your own, don't follow the crowd!"
